Queensrock
Queensrock is a large formian hive-city located in the northern part of the Colonies on the Gulf of Legions of the planet Castrovel.1
Geography
Queensrock is situated offshore in the northern Gulf of Legions on an artificial island with causeways connecting it to shore. It resembles an enormous termite mound with a mud-colored exterior broken by gaping docking bays and tunnels with the occasional steel-and-glass addition. The chambers inside are a mix of traditional formian architecture that generally make other species feel uncomfortable along with some spaces designed with non-formians in mind.1
History
Thousands of formian workers gave their lives in the monumental task of building the city, island, and causeways during the construction of Queensrock. In recent times, Queen Morgebard has brought her city to prominence by seeking trade and collaboration with the other members of the Pact Worlds.1
Government
Queensrock is ruled by for the formian queen Morgebard of the Thousand Spines. While the queen herself is almost never seen, her intricately branded Heralds are a ubiquitous presence in the city, and she can peer through their eyes and possess their bodies if needed.1
