Station 9

Station 9 is an abandoned formian outpost located on the southeastern coast of the Castrovelian continent of Ukulam. Built during the millennia-long war between the formians and the lashuntas, Station 9 developed countermeasures to defend the Colonies from biological or chemical attacks. The outpost was destroyed during the Gap but the countermeasures survived, grew, and evolved, and strange amorphous beings can be seen around the station today attacking local wildlife. Public outcry on Castrovel is growing to eradicate Station 9 and whatever survived there, but the Esowath Conservancy advises against an air strike, in case the explosives spread any local biological material into the atmosphere.
