Caliria Maze

The Caliria Maze is a section of particularly dense jungle where two smaller rivers merge to form the broader Ralhoma. It is found in the west-central part of the Castrovelian continent of Ukulam. What sets it apart from the other dense forests of that untamed continent, is that the Caliria Maze seems impossible to map (even using satellites). Either the local flora reforms after an image is taken, or else there are supernatural elements at work that obscure exact measurements. Many of the species native to Ukulam who have access to primal magic speak of a sacred place called Caliria that is said to be the planet's beating heart. This place is said to be defended by numerous species (most notably khizars), who protect it from exploitation and exploration, and who shout "Caliria!" as a war cry in battle. No one knows whether Caliria is a physical location or simply a metaphor for the planet's primal rage.
