Floating Shards

The Floating Shards is the name of an unusual mountain range in southwestern Asana on the planet Castrovel. During the Gap, lashunta spellcasters lopped off the tops of numerous peaks in the range (using magic since forgotten), and built the Mountainheart Cities within them. Others claim that the range gets its name from the fact that the numerous fjords that snake around them make it look like they are bobbing in the water. The only Mountainheart City that now remains is Komena, although explorers search for an additional five more that are recorded to have existed at one time.
