Bulwarks

The Bulwarks are an island chain on the planet Castrovel that stretch across the Strait of Glory between southwestern Asana and the Colonies. Due to being used as a beachhead for invasion by both sides of the millennia-long war between the lashunta and formian peoples, it is now a wasteland made uninhabitable by radiation and military biotech. The islands contain not only ruined castles and warhives, but old battlefields were decaying bones and chitin lay scattered across valley floors. Since the end of the war in 287 AG, scientists from both sides have cautiously been studying the Bulwarks in the hopes of uncovering lost knowledge, while the Xenowardens have been struggling to rehabilitate the damaged environment.
