Preluria is a large, green gas giant in Near Space. While the planet is inhabited primarily by psychic gas oozes, its dense rings are full of innumerable ice and mineral bodies that play host to many organizations and individuals icluding smugglers, mercenaries, and the rich.

Inhabitants

Preluria's rings include 23 astronomical objects large enough to provide natural gravity and atmospheres of their own. These objects are home to the rings' largest settlements and the factions fighting to control them. These include the Vorlath Mercenaries, the Xystrian Brotherhood, the Prelurian Patrol, the Freugan Salvage Company, and the Reivolan Institute.

Some of the rings' smaller objects are held by individuals or smaller groups, and rely on artificial atmospheres or structures to host life.

Government

Neither the gas oozes of Preluria, nor the varied inhabitants of its rings have a centralized form of government. The various factions of the rings present an ever-changing landscape of rivalries, alliances, betrayals, and negotiated peaces.
