Atachuuva is the second planet in the Chuuva system, a world of hot swamps home to oversized arthropods.1

Geography

Atachuuva is habitable but unpleasant for most species, due to its severe heat, thick atmosphere and lack of solid ground: most of its surface is covered in dense, overgrown wetlands. Most organic matter was stripped off Atachuuva during the Swarm invasion in 319 AG, leaving behind a toxic, polluted mire.1

Inhabitants

Most of Atachuuva's native life are arthropods, some of which could reach massive size. A few particularly tough specimens survived the Swarm invasion and adapted to the ensuing pollution. A small colony of giant aquatic arthropods have started building artificial mounds of silt regular in design, suggesting emerging intelligence.1

Criminals from Ilemchuuva are sometimes offered exile on Atachuuva, where they could live as they wanted to without disrupting society. Most of them were wiped out by the Swarm invasion, and the few survivors now seek a way off world.1
