Orugan
Orugan is the fourth planet in the Locus system, a swirling, multi-hued crimson gas giant.1
Geography
Orugan vibrates in response to the Locus, changing the consistency of its atmosphere and causing floating liquid seas or solid islands to form from the gases. It is orbited by 26 moons and at least 50 smaller astronomical objects, all of which remain unexplored. Sometimes, they dip into Orugan's atmosphere, then re-emerge years later with a new colour.1
Inhabitants
Cloud rays inhabit the upper atmosphere of Orugan, and are much more aggressive than their cousins dwelling in Bretheda. Little-known evil spirits, which might be oni, live in the clouds; while they cannot directly harm material beings, they can control the fauna. When the planet vibrates at the right frequency, they manifest bodies and build temporary, nightmarish realms in the air.1
