Shimrinsara
Shimrinsara is a world battered in squalls, where the shimreens dwell in cities under protective domes.1
Geography
Outside of the shimreens' protective domes, Shimrinsara is constantly battered by violent gales and elemental storms, most often electrical. This environment is dangerous to creatures without energy resistance, but is also home to strange fauna theorised to be descended from natives of the Elemental Planes.1
Inhabitants
The primary native race of Shimrinsara is the shimreens, who inhabit seven domed cities connected by energised tethers. As the elemental storms outside bombard the domes, their crystalline lattices absorb this energy to store in colossal underground batteries and power the shimreens' industry. This results in brilliant, pulsating light cascades of shifting hues along the domes' surfaces.1
Its abundant energy supply has led to constant invasions of Shimrinsara by inhabitants of neighbouring systems.1
