Wehemothal is a gas giant in the Vast that projects energy fields that empower magic.¹

Geography

Wehemothal is a swirling orange, cerulean and purple gas giant planet.² Its unusually diverse gas composition creates powerful magical fields that exist on a much bigger scale than created by physicists in labs.³ Communications signals seemingly react with Wehemothal's atmosphere, creating brief harmless microclimates whose size depends on the signal's power.⁴

Inhabitants

Wehemothal has a diverse and relatively harmless fauna, consisting of cloud rays and the like. Since its discovery in 291 AG, its sole intelligent residents have been several dozen scientists aboard Indigo Deep, a space station in its upper atmosphere.¹
