Pirate

A pirate, particularly in space, is a person who attacks and plunders spaceships, cargo, and passengers. Pirates plague most spacelanes, including those within the Pact Worlds. Many operate independently, while others belong to the Free Captains or sanctioned by a planetary government as a privateer through a letter of marque.
