The Machine Court of the planet Aballon, headquartered in the megaplex of Striving, wields judicial authority across its homeworld. This assembly of robotic judges not only adjudicates the laws of Aballon but also advises the Insight Array in planetary governance. Despite numerous complaints from various planetary governments, including the Pact Council, the Machine Court remains the go-to venue for impartial trials involving androids and other constructs across the Pact Worlds. Despite yearly formal grievances against the Machine Court for alleged interference in the governance of other worlds, the Machine Court ignores jurisdiction and offers to try any non-biological accused of a crime. So far, no Pact World has taken punitive measures against Aballon for this.1

Some interpret the Machine Court's actions as sentimental, perceiving the trials as a means of safeguarding the fair treatment of constructs like anacites. However, the reality is more straightforward: by offering unbiased trials for those accused (rightly or wrongly), the Machine Court provides a sanctuary where those acquitted can swiftly find employment through the Insight Array and actively contribute to the prosperity of Aballon.1 Because the Machine Court's actions, Striving has a large android population.2
