Preceptum is an anacite megaplex located south of the Midnight Trenches on the planet Aballon. Unlike other megaplexes, Preceptum is in a constant state of being built and torn down, seemingly at random, and the city is sometimes referred to as Preceptum XIII as it is in its thirteenth iteration. The city's urban development is led and overseen by its governing artificial intelligence named Pure Circuit, who many believe to have gone insane during the eight missing iterations the city went through during the Gap. Any anacite who openly criticizes Pure Circuit dies shortly thereafter under mysterious circumstances, but it is unclear whether the killing is the fault of the AI or some other intelligence keeping Pure Circuit in power.
