Gullet

The Gullet is the deepest of Aballon's Ice Wells and is located in the planet's southern hemisphere between the anacite megaplexes of Endeavor and Striving. The upper parts of the crater are the home of plants that cling to its walls, with the occasional sharpwing flitting between them. As one travels deeper, one loses the light from the sun and temperatures drop substantially. Some believe that the deepest part of the impact crater is the home of creatures from the Shadow Plane, as none who have mounted expeditions to explore it have ever returned.
