01
01 is an old space station orbiting Aballon. Originally built by the native anacites as a trade outpost, a peculiar computer virus forced the station to be quarantined to all constructs.1
History
01 was built shortly after the Gap as a trade outpost between the anacites and other planets. As Aballon's trading ports got outfitted with atmosphere generators and districts designed for organic life, 01 was infected by the Bureaucratic Subroutine, a computer virus that turns infected machines bureaucratic, obstructive, and inefficient. Constructs were immediately forbidden from entering 01 by the government, and traffic declined, but the station was still kept around due to the occasional strange scientific discoveries that are made there, and a few offworld traders continue to come to 01 to buy the advanced technologies that manufactured there.1
