Myriad

Myriad is one of the nine abandoned cities of the First Ones, located in the planet's southern hemisphere near the megaplex of Striving. It is held in religious awe by the local anacite population (even more so than the other First Ones cities) due to an incident that occured shortly after the end of the Gap. Striving had been expanding near Myriad for quite some time, and anacite engineers were carefully and respectfully building near the First Ones city to incorporate its towers into the megaplexes' skyline. Soon thereafter, a series of earthquakes damaged this new construction severely, which the anacites took as a clear sign from their progenitors not to not encroach upon Myriad; new construction has continued to keep its distance from Myriad ever since.
