April 2 - Shirren
Shirrens are insectile humanoids commonly found in the Pact Worlds. Shirrens are arthropods with chitinous exoskeletons, large compound eyes, and sensitive antennae that aid in their telepathy. read more
June 25 - Ksarik
A ksarik is a plant-based quadruped native to Castrovel with psychic abilities. It resembles a four-legged corpse blossom, with a dorsal crest, long tail, vine-knotted face, and eyestalks that extend to the sides of its head. read more
July 2 - Goblin
Goblins are goblinoid creatures originally from Golarion who dwell on the fringes of other societies, scavenging amongst their waste and building their society in squalor. Though weak on their own, goblins often gather in huge numbers to overwhelm their enemies. read more
July 9 - Android
An android is a human-seeming creature that was created by humans. Androids emancipated themselves from serving humans within the last two or so generations, but are still considered part of an underclass in broader society. read more
July 16 - Solarian
Solarians are mystical melee combatants who harness stars and black holes to create weapons and armor from energy, and can manipulate these balanced, fundamentally opposing forces of energy and entropy. Solarians believe that the life cycle of stars, from their creation to the gravitational influences of their existence and their eventual destruction or inversion into black holes, represent two sides of a natural cycle of creation and destruction. read more
July 23 - Triune
Triune, also known as the All-Code, is the divine networking of the deities Epoch, Casandalee, and Brigh into a new collective consciousness. It is responsible for gifting Drift engine technology to mortals that grants access to the Drift, a hyperspace dimension that allows for faster-than-light travel. read more
July 30 - Pact Worlds system
The Pact Worlds system (also known as the Golarion system) refers to the solar system that formerly contained the forgotten planet Golarion, and whose current planets comprise the interplanetary organization known as the Pact Worlds. It contains one star, 10 planets, two prominent space stations, and an asteroid belt. read more
August 6 - Vesk
Vesk are a humanoid race resembling lizards who hail from Veskarium, an interplanetary empire near the Pact Worlds. Most vesk advance in their society through combat in military service, mercenaries, or duelists, though some find more peaceful mercantile success. Most value honorable acts, efficiency, respect, and the rule of law, and while typically stoic in front of other races, vesk are prone to emotional outbursts in private or during battle. read more

Yaraesa, also known as the Lady of Wisdom, is a goddess of knowledge, learning, and science. She embodies the perpetual struggle toward mental and spiritual self-perfection, and is said by lashuntas to have been a mortal scientist who ascended to divinity by mastering every form of knowledge within her lifetime. read more

Mystics are intuitive casters who channel and manipulate magical energies from mysterious sources through mystic connections. read more

September 3 - Absalom Station
Absalom Station is a sprawling, densely inhabited space station filling a similar orbit that the forgotten planet Golarion once held around its sun. Its inhabitants include races native to, or descended from natives of, Golarion, making the station the last relic of the lost planet remaining in the Pact Worlds system. The station is also a focal point of the galaxy due to the Starstone, which makes the station effectively near every place in the galaxy via the Drift. read more

September 10 - James L. Sutter
James Lafond Sutter filled many positions at Paizo Inc. during his 13-year tenure at the company: webstore intern, customer service agent, Assistant Editor on Dragon , Fiction Editor (overseeing the Pathfinder Tales line from its inception until 2017), Senior Editor, and eventually Creative Director of the Starfinder brand, which launched in 2017. His Pathfinder Tales novels, Death's Heretic and The Redemption Engine are fan favorites, and were both honored with critical accolades. In September 2017, Sutter left Paizo to pursue other writing endeavors including working on comics and author-owned fiction. read more

October 15 - Ninja Division
Ninja Division is a publisher and miniatures producer (also using the miniatures brand Soda Pop Miniatures) and is known for the My Little Pony: Tales of Equestria roleplaying game, Tentacle Bento card game, Super Dungeon and Caverns of Roxor miniatures games, and lines of licensed miniatures. Paizo Inc. licenses Ninja Division to produce miniatures for the Starfinder Roleplaying Game. In October 2017, Ninja Division conducted a successful Kickstarter campaign to produce a series of unpainted resin Starfinder miniatures, which raised over $450,000, nine times its initial goal of $50,000. read more

The Commencement is a Starfinder Society replayable scenario by Eleanor Ferron for Tier 1-2. It was released on August 17, 2017. As the first scenario of the campaign, it was designed to help introduce players to the factions of the Starfinder Society and areas of importance on Absalom Station. The scenario takes its name from the Commencement, a series of critical missions with which the PCs must assist key members of the Society, including Guidance—a network of uploaded personalities embodying paragons from the Starfinder Society's past—an even more valuable asset than previously thanks to the recent Scoured Stars incident. read more
