For most species, space travel, in other words travel through the vacuum of space, typically requires advanced technology, biology, or powerful magic to survive in the airless environment and cover the massive distances between celestial bodies.

By ship

Travel between planets in a solar system is generally accomplished via spaceships, starships, or via powerful magic such as gates. Travel from one system or star to another generally requires a starship capable of faster-than-light travel, including use of the Drift.
