Mark Moreland, known on the wiki as yoda8myhead, was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. He attended college at New York University, where he received a BFA in film and television production. Mark's first Pathfinder adventure, The Pallid Plague, was published in February 2010. In August of that year, Mark accepted a position as Developer at Paizo Publishing, focusing on the Pathfinder Society Scenarios, Pathfinder Modules, and Pathfinder Campaign Setting lines. In 2011, Mark served along with Neil Spicer, Sean K Reynolds, and Ryan Dancey as judge for RPG Superstar 2011. In August 2017, Mark changed roles within Paizo to fill the newly created Franchise Manager position, in which he works with creative and business stakeholders to ensure consistency of both Pathfinder and Starfinder brands across various channels. Mark lives in Seattle with his wife and cat.
