Dhalochar
Dhalochars, also known as endbringer devils, are a race of colossal cybernetic devils that can also function as starships. Serving as the malebranche's agents to claim strategic footholds, they traverse outer space, crashing down in a storm of fire to disgorge armies of devils in a diabolical invasion.1
Appearance
In their terrestrial forms, dhalochars appear as many-legged titans that stand roughly 90 feet tall and weigh approximately 400 tons.1
Ecology
Dhalochars are summoned when the lords of Hell seek to make a whole world shudder in a terrifying display of force. They play the role of starships and weapons of ruin, designed to create beachheads upon worlds. Calmly arrogant, they are quick to pronounce a world's inevitable destruction. On a world, they prefer to stay undiscovered to summon more devils, except when crash-landing in population centres during a major assault.1
Dhalochars were made to survive and traverse the void of space. In starship form, a dhalochar can crash on worlds and space stations like apocalyptic meteors. Within its body, each dhalochar houses a well-protected cavity capable of holding a deadly payload, either a portal-generating device or a devil strike force, most commonly levalochs, their close cousins. Upon landing, dhalochars release their cargo and reconfigure themselves into their terrestrial form. In this form, a dhalochar can shoot hellfire from its eyes. The transformation is one-way on the Material Plane: if needed on another world, dhalochars shift back to Hell and wait to be re-summoned.1
