Besmaran whelp is a catchall name for a wildly diverse group of immense space monsters; it is unknown if they are one species or several.

Appearance

All Besmaran whelps have a long sinuous body, two clawed appendages and a narrowed tail.

Ecology

Besmaran whelps typically feed on energy, their favourite food being starship power cores. They do not need to breathe, and their bite drains a ship of power.
