Effigenes are the Swarm's bioengineers and medics, tasked with preserving other Swarm components. Among the most intelligent Swarm components, effigenes are usually stationed on conquered planets to oversee the biomachines that drain their resources. In battle, they employ their bioelectricity to invigorate allies or unleash at enemies. Effigenes are taller and leaner than corrovoxes, with dexterous, joined talons and four evenly-spaced compound eyes. They have no mouth and communicate solely via telepathy.
