Xersks are rare Swarm components that employ psychic magic to frighten foes. They have large crested heads and horrifying eyes, which can cause those who look at them to question and lose their grasp of reality. Xersks sometimes exhibit odd behaviours like quietly observing a geographical feature or constellation, giving rise to the misconception that they have more free will than other Swarm components. Few members of other species have seen a xersk and lived to tell the tale.1
