Scintillatrix
Scintillatrix is a small, peaceful bubble in the Burning Archipelago. It is notable for having a population consisting mostly of followers of Desna instead of those of Sarenrae, who make up the majority of the faithful in the rest of the Archipelago.12
Geography
Scintillatrix is only connected to the bubbles of Corona and Fireside, and its peaceful character can be a pleasant change after the hustle and bustle of Dawnshore or Verdeon. Faint chimes ring throughout the day in the bubble, and soft lights project images of the constellations upon its interior, a reminder that the sun is only one star among many. This makes for a calming, soothing sight, and lashuntas who visit Scintillatrix report a temporary reprieve from sensations of doom, which never lasts long, even if they stay for an extended time in Scintillatrix.13
Places of interest
The best-known restaurant in Scintillatrix is Constellations, whose elegant decor is inspired by the plane of Elysium. It is owned and operated by the gnome Alwiniath Eltrie Fibbinki.4
Inhabitants
Scintillatrix is overseen by Desnan priests, who note that the sun, being a star, also falls under Desna's portfolio in addition to Sarenrae's. While the first Archipelago Senate was initially concerned about potential sectarian violence, the two faiths have instead engaged in spirited, friendly debates on which astronomical object their patrons should have purview over. Regular tours of the bubble are offered that come with a guided lecture about the many constellations projected on its interior surface. These tours are free, but it is customary to donate several credits to the church as an offering instead.13
Because of its importance to the Song of the Spheres, Scintillatrix is a popular pilgrimage destination for followers of Desna.5
