Dawnshore Spaceport

The Dawnshore Spaceport is an extensive facility of landing platforms, maintenance bays, and launch tubes located in the bubble of Dawnshore in the Pact Worlds system's Burning Archipelago. It sits at the end of an unexplained, mystical tunnel that opens whenever a starship approaches the Archipelago and which protects the ship from the Sun's immense heat and radiation. For this reason, it is the only place in the Burning Archipelago where ships that cannot withstand the sun's energies can land. The Dawnshore Spaceport is known for its many talented mechanics, although numerous con men and pickpockets prey upon travellers there as well. Attempts by the Church of Sarenrae (whose local headquarters, the Radiant Cathedral, is also located in Dawnshore) to clear out the criminals have been unfruitful. Equipment that protect one's eyes from the light is available at the Spaceport, but cost a premium compared to other places in the Pact Worlds.
