Church of the Burning Mother

The Church of the Burning Mother, located in the Burning Archipelago bubble-city of Asanatown, is the seat of a lashunta Sarenite sect that is separate from the Radiant Cathedral in the bubble of Dawnshore. Its priests are reclusive and rarely leave the bubble. Occupying the top floors of a massive structure, it was founded in 296 AG by Ada Belel just after the lashuntas mass-migrated to Asanatown. Belel's interpretation of the Burning Mother's will has grown energetic, outspoken, and critical as she ages, and many lashuntas attends her weekly sermons. Recently, the Radiant Cathedral's leaders have been sending operatives to spy on the Church of the Burning Mother out of concern about a possible schism.
