Polyhand
A polyhand is a cybernetic augmentation that replaces a recipient's hand with reformable, microscopic adamantine prisms. A recipient can control their hand's configuration with mental commands or with an built-in interface. The hand can be programmed to take on the shape of one of nine re-programmable tools as well as a configuration to simulate the recipient's natural hand. Although the polyhand can replicate any moderately complex tool (including ones with moving parts), it does not replicate a power source for any tool that requires one, which one must supply oneself. A polyhand is made of non-conductive material (so as to not shock its user) and cannot be used as a data transmission line or power conduit. A polyhand cannot duplicate any specific, unique features of a hand (such as fingerprints) and cannot be made to stretch more than half a foot in any direction. Finally, a polyhand is made of adamantine and therefore is extremely durable.1
