Speed suspension is a cybernetic augmentation that is installed in a recipient's legs and replaces joints and tendons to increase the user's running speed. The minimal version replaces only a few parts of the legs, while each additional version replaces more of the legs until the recipients has a complete replacement of all their joints and tendons. Speed suspensions can also be installed in prosthetic legs.
