Hideaway limb

A hideaway limb is a cybernetic augmentation in the form of a small compartment that is installed in a recipient's limb. It grants the ability to conceal a small item that is difficult to detect when the compartment is closed. The compartment's opening does have a light seam, but the augmentation is hard to spot with a pat down or even a more detailed security scan. The item inside the compartment can be accessed with a simple passcode. The standard version allows the recipient to hide either a small or a larger, easily-compactable item, and a hideaway limb installed in a larger limb (such as a leg) can hold a larger item than one implanted in a smaller one. The quickdraw version of the hideaway limb is designed to nearly instantly deliver a hidden weapon into the user's hand, as long as the compartment is located in a limb used to attack. The weapon can also be installed with a mount so that the user doesn't need to actually hold the weapon to attack with it, although the limb can't be used for anything else while the weapon is outside of the compartment. This also makes it more difficult to disarm someone using a mounted weapon.1
