Adamantine is a strong and valuable starmetal that is mined on asteroids and planets. Pure adamantine is extremely rare and expensive.

Adamantine is sometimes combined with iron or steel to form durable adamantine alloys, one of which is glaucite. Weapons and ammunition are usually made with adamantine alloys due to cost and are used for the purpose of exploiting a creature's adamantine weakness.
