Guardian robots are robots designed for the sole purpose of protecting a person or property. They are available in a wide range of models, most of which resemble unassuming humanoids and have a quiet, deferential virtual intelligence. They try to stay near their masters while scanning for potential threats and engaging them with grenades and weighted nets if necessary. Guardian robots have become a status symbol among politicians and businessmen in the Pact Worlds.
