Biotechnology

Biotechnology refers to both the practice of fusing biological sciences with technology to replace or augment natural functions, and the resulting devices, manufacturing elements, or procedures.1 Augments typically include modifications to a recipient's DNA as well as implants of biological origin that integrate into physiology. 2
