Azers are a species of dwarf-like outsiders who live in regimented societies across the Plane of Fire.

Appearance

An azer is 4 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.

Society

Each azer is born into a caste which determines their role in society: brass (diplomats and politicians), bronze (traders and artisans) or copper (mechanics and manual labourers). A rare few eschew their orderly, disciplined, hard-working traditions, preferring to work in adventurous jobs.

Azers build their cities on the Plane of Fire and some fiery Material Plane planets. Some azers live as second-class citizens (or worse) in efreeti cities like the City of Brass, but are proud of their servitude, while free azers despise efreet.

In the Pact Worlds

A number of azers make their home in the bubble of Corona in the Burning Archipelago.
