Toshigamis are kami who hold a special relationship with cherry trees. While these trees, once common on Golarion, are now critically endangered after the loss of their home planet, the toshigamis (most of whom now reside in certain protected arboretums on Castrovel and parks on Absalom Station) seem unwilling to reside among other species. Toshigamis have become symbols of the transition into the new year as time marches inexorably forward.
