Chinjugami are a type of kami who watch over artificial ecosystems, especially those separated from a planet.

Appearance

Chinjugami prefer to stay merged with their ward, and when they manifest, they resemble 40-feet tall titans of metal and greenery.

Ecology

When their ward is occupied, chinjugami only intervene subtly, such as by removing rust from pipes. They only fully embrace their role as protectors when their ward is abandoned, patrolling areas, performing upkeep, and maintaining balance and sustainability. These chinjugami are often suspicious of outsiders, believing that they will only abandon their ward again after having reclaimed it.
