Imp
More information about this subject might be available on PathfinderWiki. |
Imps are the weakest of the true devils, but are nonetheless vital in the corruption of mortals.1
Appearance
An imp is about two feet tall and weighs nearly 13 pounds.1
Society
Imps are easily summonable to the Material Plane and willingly serve mortal spellcasters, offering them foresight and even tutelage, but work to secure their masters' souls (as well as as many others as possible) for Hell. Imps are easy to summon, and they delight in any chance to do evil on the Material Plane.1
Since imps cannot return to Hell by themselves, they are the devils most commonly seen on the Material Plane, where they continue their duties long after their master is gone, either by serving another master or joining evil mortals. Imps might become leaders of weaker creatures, but are far more often seen as the dark influence over a leader, allowing them to lead mortals to damnation without being responsible for failings.1
