Cable serpent is the collective name given to snake-like bundles of wires or similar technology infused with enough magic to have come to life. Although they cannot speak, they are highly intelligent and can communicate via shortwave transmissions. The first documented discovery of a cable serpent occured on the planet Aballon in the Pact Worlds at a Drift beacon factory.
