Wayangs are a humanoid race native to the Shadow Plane who migrated to the Material Plane long before the Gap. After the Gap, some of them returned to the Shadow Plane to settle on the hidden planet of Yutanah. Like their ancestors, modern wayangs practice ritual scarification, tattooing and love bright clothing and jewellery; unlike them, they are much less reclusive, and some of them wander the stars in elaborate festival starships. Travellers on long voyages who can afford the premium price can rarely find a safer or more entertaining public transport.
