Time dimensionals are living fragments of the Dimension of Time that neutralise threats to the timestream.1

Appearance

A time dimensional resembles a lanky, crystalline, 12 foot tall humanoid whose facets display images of the past, present, and future. The crystal might appear smooth like polished glass or completely translucent.1

Ecology

Time dimensionals are dispatched by the Dimension of Time against events or individuals that threaten causality or the flow of time. In order to correct these threats, they might destroy the offender, alter their memories, or delay events until time can correct itself. In case of severe disruptions, several time dimensionals might be sent at once.1

Time dimensionals are created only when truly necessary, due to causality's fragile nature. Scholars might find the situations that necessitate their presence inconsistent: for example, one appeared when a Vercite transport was simply moving through the Drift in 303 AG, while obvious beacons like the Veskarium science vessel that used a black hole to speed up its relative time flow to research weapons in 296 AG were simply ignored.1

Time dimensionals can manipulate the flow of time of other objects, move quickly across the battlefield, and comprehensively see into the future to get out of the way of the next strike against them.1

Society

According to some scholars, the Dimension of Time is inherently intelligent, which would be needed to create time dimensionals and precisely dispatching them. Some believe only one time dimensional exists: 'multiple' time dimensionals seen at the same time are actually the same time dimensional meeting itself in the past or future, and its form becomes smoother as it grows older, due to being repeatedly created and absorbed by the Dimension of Time.1

Researching the power of time dimensionals is futile, outside of collecting small amounts of temporal residue they leave behind. Those who attempted to travel to lost Golarion or important events in history have vanished entirely; rumour has it that they ran afoul of a rare, powerful time dimensional that erased them from existence, but sceptics point out that no one could know about such an event even if it actually occurred. Even those who do not attract the Dimension of Time's ire might instead fall prey to a different danger: a hound of Tindalos.1
