Paizo's Starfinder One-Shot product line was a digital adventure line descended from the Pathfinder One-Shot line.1 Four Starfinder One-Shot adventures were published between May 2021 and June 2022. As of October 2022, the line was on hiatus.
Starfinder One-Shots provided single-session adventures designed to fill three to four hours of gameplay. Each includes pregenerated characters to make it easy to jump into the action right away. Illustrated character sheets contained fully developed characters with backstories related to the adventure and were designed for cooperative storytelling around the gaming table.1
Starfinder One-Shots were short, casual, standalone adventures, but they could also be played for Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild credit, as can modules from all of Starfinder's adventure product lines.
One-Shots provided players with what they need to play on virtual tabletops and across other platforms of choice, including high-resolution maps and image handouts. Fantasy Grounds plans to have these available in March 2021, with other partners to follow. Paizo announced no plans to offer these adventures as a subscription or print product.1
Hiatus
As of October 2022, no further One-Shots were on the Paizo publishing schedule, and the lead developer of non-Organized-Play adventures Thurston Hillman had been promoted to Starfinder Managing Creative Director.2
