Plague oozes are a species of mindless oozes that live in the wilds of Aucturn, supposedly released there by cultists of Urgathoa. They reproduce either by converting Aucturn's flesh into plague oozes, or by infecting victims with the ooze plague, an infectious disease which shows no symptoms in its latent state and turns victims into plague oozes when they die. Due to this method of propagation, plague oozes have spread out to several planets in the Vast.
