Onkushus are kindly outsiders from the Plane of Fire who have long been allies of angels. Implacable foes of evil, they learn goodly practices from their celestial friends and in turn teach them the value of cleansing fire. They often become interested in affairs on the Material Plane and come there from the Plane of Fire via the portals that form within stars. An onkushu is 15 feet tall, weighs 1000 pounds, and leaves behind a pile of fine white ash when killed.
