Nacreas are a species of spectra that protect Drift beacons and repair the Drift engines of disabled starships.1
Appearance
A nacrea resembles a humanoid creature made from muscle-like clusters of wires and dull starmetal, with a hollow-faced head filled with passing stars, and surrounded by spinning rings of solid light. Nacreas can rapidly travel through space, but tend to move on as soon as their targets are secured, meaning that they are at the same time among the most commonly found and most rarely seen spectra on the Material Plane; their existence was only recently confirmed by scholars.1
