Marrowblights are brawny, hateful undead that arose from victims of radiation or magic that warped their bodies.1

Appearance

Marrowblights are muscular undead with hideous bone spurs that protrude from their backs, cheeks, jaws and shoulders. They drip with the disease that courses through the marrowblight's bones like marrow. Marrowblights are typically 8 to 10 feet tall (spurs included) and weigh upward of 300 pounds.1

Ecology

Marrowblights are created from biology-warping processes that painfully twisted their flesh at the moment of death, like radiation or arcane energy; one example is the cataclysm that killed Eox, and many marrowblights created at that point still 'survive'. The Eoxians have pinpointed the processes required to create them, and some elebrians have volunteered to become marrowblights.1

Society

Marrowblights are among the undead most hateful to society and living creatures. Sometimes they ally with undead supremacists, like the Corpse Fleet and sympathisers.1
