The Last One is the mysterious head of the Resurgent Technologies corporation located in the Aballonian megaplex of Endeavor. Their true identity is unknown, and it is unclear whether the Last One is anacite or simply a humanoid dressed in powered armor with glowing golden eyes.

History

At the end of the Gap, Resurgent Technologies was run by an elected council. Soon after the signing of the Abasalom Pact, the Last One fired the council and has been directing the corporation single-handedly ever since. The Last One's name is considered blasphemous by both major factions of anacites (who presumably believe that the Last One is attempting to assume the identity of the anacites' progenitors, the Last Ones), and both Those Who Wait and Those Who Become have made numerous unsuccessful attempts to assassinate the chief executive.
