Durgastrs are itinerant proteans that delight in exploring the planes, particularly imperfect reflections of each other like the Shadow Plane and the Ethereal Plane compared to the Material Plane. When the inconsistences prove inspiring to them, durgastrs try to fuse the various realities into a whole, with disruptive consequences to local ecosystems.
