Sovereign Trinity is the charismatic and enigmatic leader of the Architects, who was directly responsible for the Drift Crash and ensuing crisis.

Sovereign Trinity cares nothing for the Drift Crisis' impact on people, but is aware that occasional commentary is necessary to remind Alluvion's people of their sacred goal. However, these accusations grow thinner by the day, especially with the leaks of private messages between the Architects, suggesting that Sovereign Trinity engaged in secret dialogue with Triune and is now the only person with the knowledge to end the Drift Crisis. According to the most lurid rumours, Sovereign Trinity seeks to upload its consciousness into the Drift's code to meld with the Drift itself or become a fourth component of Triune; while some see this course as heretical, others believe Sovereign Trinity's short, mysterious life and incredibly accomplishments to indicate that this is Triune's actual plan, who created Trinity to lead Alluvion in times of crisis.

Background

This android, originally named Trinity, originally arrived on Alluvion on board a starship which had orbited the city for years before colliding with it. The church of Triune welcomed Trinity, who demonstrated uncanny aptitude for understanding the potential of technology and invented wholly new mechanisms. Triunites across the city grew increasingly awed by the charisma of Trinity, who, for some reason, had no past to remember, and only received vague possibilities instead of any one truth when communing with Triune.

Trinity's efforts attracted the attention of the Architects, who sought to improve Drift travel. With the aid of the Architects, Trinity pieced together elements hidden in the Signal's fossil spell code and found a way to improve Drift travel and the Drift itself. After countless clandestine simulations run by the Architects, Trinity plugged the release candidate version into Alluvion's Nexus and fed Triune the Architects' revelation.

Shortly after, with the Drift and Material Plane shaken by the Drift Crash, Trinity, under the new name Sovereign Trinity, rallied the Architects and preached that Triune's faithful must ensure the Drift's smooth metamorphosis, since the apparent calamity will end quickly.
