Skreesire
Skreesires are nasty psychic aberrations that lurk in the rocky corners of the universe.1
Appearance
Skreesires are round, bulky and intimidating. Their wings are vestigial, and they use their tentacles to walk and grab prey. They stand up to 10 feet tall and weigh up to 500 pounds.1
Ecology
Skreesires are omnivorous, preferring plants. They are solitary and territorial creatures, even towards other skreesires. All intruders are considered to be threats, and will be psychically forced to flee by the skreesire; if that fail, the skreesire attacks.1
Skreesires are hermaphroditic and can self-fertilise, but usually only do so after eating and harvesting genetic material from their food in order to avoid inbreeding. They prefer to lay eggs in the corpses of prey, or in soft sand or vines if necessary. These eggs hatch into larvae known as skreelings.1
