Pyric wraiths are incorporeal undead created from pyric revenants that spent centuries in their undead state, to the point that pyric fire has consumed their entire body. They are made of cinders swirling around a bright, flaming heart, and smell of ash and smoke. Pyric wraiths only retain a desire to burn living creatures and feast on the energy released. Despite being incorporeal, pyric wraiths rarely make use of this property, preferring to kill without stealth to inspire horror, and finding passing through the darkness within objects disgusting.

In some cases, a pyric revenant manages to master the pyric fire within it, becoming a pyric heliacus instead of a pyric wraith.
