Mementors are a species of fey that embody amnesia and steal memories, native to the Shadow Plane.

Appearance

A mementor resembles a skeletally slim humanoid mantis with a colourful exoskeleton and shimmering, vibrating mantis-like wings. It stands six feet tall and weighs 100 pounds.

Ecology

Mementors embody the horrors of amnesia and consume the memories of their foes, causing long-lasting memory loss and leaving them infantile and bewildered. They are tied to Count Ranalc, and are hypothesised to be either the manifestations of his fear or rage of being forgotten, or the byproduct of the Gap.

Society

Mementors are sometimes employed as mercenaries alongside mortals by corporations who seek to wipe the memories of victims without killing them.
